This trek generally offers you the opportunity to grab the fun of walking without any strenuous activity. This trek starts from Budhanilkantha, a sacred Hindu temple of with giant single black basalt statue of Lord Vishnu. From there you will hike toward Chisapani via Shivapuri National Park. The trail is so fascinating and the weather is so just favorable just meant for walking.
After leaving Chisapani behind, you walk towards Nagarkot along the path full of mist. Nagarkot lies at the elevation of 2195m from where you can witness the breathtaking view of sunrise and sunset along with the panoramic view of the Himalayas on a clear day. Then you head towards Dhulikhel, which is also a famous hill station near from Kathmandu. Famous for sunrise view and spectacular view of Himalayan Mountains above green forests, Dulikhel is true place to relax.
Mid-hill culture, Himalayan panorama and floral and faunal biodiversity along with mesmerizing sunrise views are the prime highlights of the trek. Meant for everyone, this trek can be undertaken even by kids and senior citizens who can walk few miles a day.
