The adventurous trek in Langtang Region that goes across elevated Ganja La Pass…
Experience amazing 14-day Ganja La Pass Trekking in Langtang region that takes you across the Ganja La pass at (5122m/16,800 ft).The trek is an exclusive journey to the lap of the Himalayas. Following the trail to Tsergo Ri (5,000m/16,404ft), which offers incredible views of the Langtang Himalaya range we can get in touch of the native Tibetan influenced cultural display of the Tamangs. The amazing part of the trek is that the Langtang region is very close to Kathmandu but it is as unique as any Tibetan highlands.
Langtang region is also famous for its high passes, giant glaciers and mountain lakes. The trail follows the path with lush green rhododendron and bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, and snow-capped Himalayas, which make the trek an awesome experience for all type of travelers. The people living the highlands of the region are Nepalese, but being of Tibetan origin, they still look like Tibetans and the culture is quite similar to Tibetans.
Our journey starts with adventurous bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The trek begins from Syabrubesi. Via the Kyanjing Gompa we cross the mighty Ganja La pass, and end our trip at the Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu region. At the end of the trip, you will also trek through some beautiful rice terraces and few Buddhist monasteries around the amusing villages of Tarke Gyang and Sermathang before heading back to Kathmandu.
The route of the trek has been badly affected by the quake 2015. Once the renovation is done and all is clear, the trek shall be opened for all.
