The exceptionally beautiful trek that has not been trodden by many…
The emerging trekking trail that loops around the beautiful Himalayan Peak, Manaslu has suffered significant loss during the powerful quake 2015. The trail has scores of landslides triggered by the M 7.9 epicenter Barpak, which lies in very close proximity to the trails of Manaslu Trek Trail.
The trial has been opened for the trekkers just two decades ago and hence not many trekkers have trodden the remotes trails of the adventurous escapade. The trekking route usually is the choice of expedition teams to Mt. Manslu (8163m). Relatively untouched routes of Manaslu Trek provide the opportunity to explore wide diversity of floral and faunal species. The cultural delights of ethnical tribes like Gurungs and Magars and the Himalayan panorama dominated by Mt. Manaslu are also the prime the highlights of the trek.
The trek begins from the home of royals of Nepal i.e. Gorkha than passes through the conservation area of Manaslu. Then you climb and descend the hills exploring the wilderness and then cross the Larkya – La Pass at the elevation of 5250m to finally appear at Marsyangdi River Valley. Next, you will walk along the Marsyangdi River that leads you to Besi Sahar through the rhododendron forests to give the conclusion to your trek.
The trek is currently suspended. However, the works of renovating the routes of the trek that has left mesmerized many trekkers across the globe will soon be opened catering exceptional cultural and natural highlights.
